Main auditorium of Keystone Theatre re-opens following renovations

TOWANDA - The Keystone Theatre's main auditorium, which is located in its historic section, has re-opened for the showing of movies, according to the Bradford County Regional Arts Council.

The Keystone's main auditorium had been closed since Sept. 3 for renovations.

Those renovations are not yet complete, as carpeting still needs to be installed, according to the arts council.

The renovations in the main theater are expected to be completed later this month, said Sharon Kaminsky, director of movie programming at the arts council. Live performances in the main auditorium are expected to resume in the coming weeks, the arts council said.

There had been some delays in completing the renovation project.
